Community Gathering 2026

The Ranmakha community came together on March 15th for our annual gathering at the sacred shrine of Ranma Kha Baba in Bairyahi. Families traveled from Saptari, Siraha, Morang, Sunsari, and Udaypur districts to participate in this cherished tradition.

Highlights

• Cultural performances by youth members showcasing traditional Tharu dance and music
• Elder recognition ceremony honoring senior members of the community
• Community development discussions on education initiatives and heritage preservation
• Traditional worship at the Dihwar Than shrine with bull sacrifice and prasad distribution

Looking Ahead

The committee announced plans to digitize more genealogy records and expand the banshavali documentation to include newly discovered family branches. Community members are encouraged to share any historical records or photographs they may have.

The next gathering is planned for Baisakh 1st (Sirwa festival), where the entire Ranma Kha clan will come together for worship and celebration as per our tradition.
